Our organization is seeking a skilled Closure Design Engineer to play a key role in the development of innovative closure systems for the automotive industry.

  • This position involves the design and development of front door, rear door, tailgate, engine hood, and fender systems
  • Candidates will be responsible for executing complete closure system projects using CAD design tools like CATIA and PLM software's Team center
  • The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in automobile domain with closures design and a strong understanding of engineering and system documents

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Automobile Engineering
  • Strong technical knowledge of automotive sheet metal parts, manufacturing, and assembly processes
  • Excellent communication skills with ability to prepare and deliver presentations of concepts/master sections

Key Responsibilities Include:

  • Design of various closure systems including front door, rear door, tailgate, engine hood, and fender systems
  • Development of engineering and system documents such as DFMEA, DVP, DFA
  • Technical knowledge of tolerance stack up and GD&T analysis
