Job Opportunity

We're seeking a skilled Frontend Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our development team, you will play a critical role in designing and implementing high-quality user-facing features using Next.js (or React) and Typescript.

Your primary responsibility will be to own the user experience – plan, build and ship new features end to end. This includes collaborating closely with design, product managers and backend engineers to plan, develop and launch new product features, iterate on existing features and UI functionality, and build a world-class user experience.

You will also be responsible for identifying, troubleshooting and resolving existing or newly identified prioritized defects, ensuring high quality code through solid testing and adherence to best practices/standards, participating in code reviews to maintain code quality and share ideas/knowledge among your peers, creating and maintaining technical documentation as part of new features or spike discoveries, and considering automation, accessibility, security, observability, disaster recovery, high availability, documentation and performance as part of all owned applications/deliverables.

Requirements
  • 3+ years of professional full-time experience with frontend development (React / Next.js preferred)
  • Professional experience building and maintaining production-grade web applications using Typescript, Next.js, CSS frameworks (tailwind, MUI preferred) and other relevant technologies
  • Strong background in frontend state management libraries, build systems, bundlers and static asset optimization
  • Familiarity with integrating RESTful and GraphQL APIs, managing data fetching strategies and handling edge cases gracefully
  • Optimize frontend applications for maximum speed, scalability and responsiveness
  • Experience with frontend testing frameworks (jest, cypress) and maintaining a high degree of confidence in code quality
  • Understanding of responsive design, accessibility best practices and performance optimization techniques
  • Proven experience working with globally distributed teams and excellent communication skills
  • Comfortable working in an agile environment with iterative development practices including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews and retrospectives
  • Ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize effectively and guide the team toward successful project completions
