Project Coordinator Job Description

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Project Coordinator to join our team. In this role, you will act as a vital link between developers, project stakeholders, and users by documenting requirements and detailed technical specifications.

Your primary responsibility will be to ensure that projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to identify and mitigate potential risks, and to develop and implement solutions that meet stakeholder needs.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of project management principles and practices, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills. They will be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, prioritize tasks, and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Document Requirements: Gather and document project requirements from stakeholders and translate them into detailed technical specifications.
  • Project Coordination: Work with development teams to coordinate project activities, identify and mitigate potential risks, and develop solutions to meet stakeholder needs.
  • Stakeholder Management: Communicate effectively with stakeholders to understand their needs and expectations, and to provide regular updates on project progress.
  • Quality Assurance: Ensure that projects meet quality standards by conducting thorough reviews and testing.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • University Degree: A degree in business administration, computer science, or a related field is required.
  • Project Management Experience: A minimum of 5 years of experience in project management, preferably in a software development environment.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate complex technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in Atlassian Confluence and Jira, with knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and SQL databases.
