Automation Developer Job Description

In this role, you will be responsible for creating automated test scripts using JavaScript or TypeScript.

  • Develop and maintain automated test suites for web applications using JavaScript or TypeScript.
  • Implement API and UI automation using JavaScript as the programming language.
  • Experience in working with agile model and implementing in-sprint automation is preferred.
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills with great attention to detail, critical thinking, and solid communication are essential.

A strong understanding of testing basics, including test process, design techniques, defect management, and methodology, is crucial. Additionally, hands-on experience with tools such as Playwright, Protractor, Jest, Puppeteer, Cypress, Jasmine, and Mocha is required. Experience in integrating automated test suites with Continuous Integration (CI) tools like Jenkins or Bamboo is also necessary.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • 6-14 years of experience in software development and automation testing.
  • Strong programming skills in JavaScript or TypeScript.
  • Hands-on experience with automation testing tools.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
