System Engineer Job Description

As a System Engineer, you will play a crucial role in maintaining and optimizing collaboration systems, ensuring system security, and responding to failures or performance issues. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Maintaining and optimizing collaboration systems, including preventive and corrective maintenance, capacity planning, and scalability.
  • Recording and managing changes, configurations, incidents, problems, and processes.
  • Ensuring system security, implementing standards, and responding to failures or performance issues.
  • Producing performance, capacity, availability, and security reports for senior management.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful as a System Engineer, you should have the following skills and qualifications:

  • 5-7+yrs technology support experience.
  • 5+ years of experience in Administration and implementation of Collaboration Tools.
  • Extensive experience with Microsoft suite administration and Collaboration Security frameworks including Exchange Online and Teams.
  • Extensive experience using Powershell, PowerBI, APIs, Webservices, Python, C++, JavaScript, and Power Platform to build and deploy services.
