Job Title: Network Security and Voice Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Unified Voice & Firewall Engineer to bridge the gap between enterprise voice collaboration systems and network firewall security.

This is a unique opportunity for a resourceful engineer who thrives in cross-functional environments, ensuring secure, reliable, and high-performing communications.

  • Administer and support Cisco Unified Communications Manager (CUCM), Webex Calling, and Webex Contact Center.
  • Manage voice recording platforms (Cistera or similar).
  • Oversee certificate lifecycle management (deploy, renew, secure).
  • Monitor performance using LogicMonitor, WhatsUp Gold, SolarWinds, or similar tools.
  • Configure and administer firewalls (Cisco ASA/FTD, Fortinet FortiGate, Palo Alto).
  • Implement firewall policies, VPNs, NAT, and ACLs to secure enterprise networks.
  • Troubleshoot issues across both voice and security domains to maintain uptime and compliance.

Requirements:

  • 10+ years of combined experience in Voice/UC engineering and Firewall administration.
  • Strong hands-on knowledge of CUCM, Webex, SIP trunks, and voice integration.
  • Expertise in Cisco ASA/FTD and Fortinet FortiGate (Palo Alto is a plus).
  • Experience managing certificates, PKI, and secure communications.
  • Familiarity with monitoring tools like WhatsUp Gold, LogicMonitor, or SolarWinds.
  • Relevant certifications (CCNP Collaboration, CCNP Security, Fortinet NSE, PCNSE) are highly preferred.
