Consultant Microbiologist Role Overview

As a highly skilled Consultant Microbiologist, you will be responsible for leading laboratory analysis and monitoring of microbial cultures, samples, and new drugs using advanced computer software and identification methods.

  • Undertake laboratory research to track environmental microorganism development, ensuring high accuracy in data recording and interpretation.
  • Develop and manage laboratory protocols for growing microbe cultures, creating new pharmaceutical products, vaccines, medicines, and compounds such as antiseptics.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to collect and analyze samples from various locations, interpreting complex data and making informed decisions.
  • Prepare and present research papers, reports, and reviews on the latest scientific and research developments in the field.
  • Ensure adherence to strict health and safety guidelines, maintaining a safe working environment.

You will also oversee food and drink manufacturing processes to prevent contamination and effectively manage laboratories to ensure optimal performance.
