Job Overview:

We are seeking a talented and motivated Desktop Support Specialist to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality desktop administration and network support in a fast-paced emergency helpline environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Troubleshoot hardware, software, and network-related issues using advanced analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Provide exceptional remote desktop support and application customization services to ensure seamless user experience.
  • Monitor system performance and implement timely updates to maintain optimal efficiency.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in desktop support or a related field with a proven track record of success.
  • Strong communication, analytical, and troubleshooting skills with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Familiarity with voice-logging systems and remote support tools is essential for this role.
  • Fluency in English and Tamil is required, with the ability to communicate complex technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
  • The ideal candidate will have excellent time management skills and be able to work in a 24x7 shift operation.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Diploma/BE/B.Tech in ECE/CS/IT/EEE with a strong foundation in computer science and technology.
  • Administer servers and ensure documentation is up-to-date, with a focus on process improvement and quality assurance.
  • Manage inventory of hardware/software assets, with attention to detail and a commitment to cost-effectiveness.
  • Record technical resolutions and provide regular performance reports to stakeholders, highlighting key achievements and areas for improvement.
