Enterprise Solution Architect Job Description

We are seeking a highly experienced and dynamic Enterprise Solutions Professional with a strong background in software engineering to join our organization. This position is designed for a professional with a proven track record in designing high-performing, scalable, enterprise-grade solutions that meet the ever-changing needs of modern business.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the development and implementation of innovative, scalable, and secure enterprise-level solutions using Java and related technologies.
  • Partner with stakeholders to gather and analyze requirements, ensuring alignment with business objectives and strategic goals.
  • Research and recommend technology stacks, frameworks, and best practices to enhance application performance and scalability, ensuring seamless integration with existing systems.
  • Develop detailed design architecture and guidelines for software development teams to follow, promoting collaboration and knowledge-sharing.
  • Provide technical mentorship and leadership to engineers, fostering a collaborative and inclusive work environment that encourages innovation and growth.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver cohesive, end-to-end software solutions that meet or exceed customer expectations.
  • Ensure all architectural frameworks and solutions adhere to industry best practices, security standards, and compliance regulations, maintaining the highest level of quality and integrity.
  • Troubleshoot issues in applications and systems, providing robust and practical solutions that minimize downtime and maximize productivity.
  • Continuously evaluate and integrate new technologies to future-proof enterprise systems, ensuring long-term viability and adaptability.
  • Drive innovation initiatives and contribute to the overall technology strategy, aligning with organizational goals and objectives.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • 8+ years of relevant experience in software engineering and solution architecture, specializing in Java development and enterprise-level solutions.
  • Strong proficiency in Java and its related frameworks (e.g., Spring, Hibernate, or similar), as well as expertise in designing highly scalable, distributed, and fault-tolerant applications.
  • Hands-on experience with microservices architecture, RESTful APIs, and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud), with a solid understanding of DevOps principles and experience with CI/CD pipelines.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and drive projects forward.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, with certifications in cloud architecture or Java development a plus.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Certifications in cloud architecture or Java development (e.g., AWS Solution Architect, Oracle Certified Professional), demonstrating expertise and commitment to ongoing learning and professional development.
  • Experience with containerization technologies like Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes, enhancing deployment efficiency and scalability.
  • Familiarity with front-end technologies and frameworks (e.g., React, Angular) is a plus, allowing for holistic solutions and user-centric design.
  • Previous experience in a leadership role and mentoring team members, with a strong track record of empowering and developing talent within an organization.
