Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Automation Engineer and Quality Assurance Specialist to join our engineering team.

About the Role:

This individual will be responsible for bringing new features to life, supporting our products' move to modern agile and technical practices and architectures.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Take ownership and responsibility for the design and development of all aspects of testing.
  • Work on acceptance criteria and test scenarios with the product owner and development team.
  • Design, execute, and maintain test scenarios and automation capabilities for all test levels and types.
  • Create and optimize test frameworks and integrate them into deployment pipelines.
  • Participate in code review processes for both production and test code to ensure critical cases are covered.
  • Monitor test runs, application errors, and performance.
  • Maintain information flow, keep the team informed, and be a stakeholder in releases and defect tracking.
  • Share best testing and quality practices and processes across the project.
  • Promote and coach the team towards a quality-focused mindset.
  • Influence and lead the team towards continuous improvement and best testing practices.

Requirements:

  • Knowledge of software testing theory.
  • Comfortable in developing test automation frameworks from scratch and maintaining existing frameworks.
  • 6+ years of experience in software testing, manual and automated.
  • Strong experience in different testing practices, specifically integrated within CI/CD.
  • Experience working with CI/CD pipelines and monitoring tools.
  • Knowledge with Bitbucket, K8s, Docker.
  • Knowledge of UI testing, REST protocol, and microservice architecture.
  • Mobile QA Engineering requirements: Espresso, XCUITest.
  • Testrail.
  • Bitrise, Jenkins.
  • Charles Proxy.
  • Postman and API testing.
  • BrowserStack.
  • Strong experience in Java/Kotlin, Swift, and its usage under a CI/CD pipeline.
  • Ability to work in an agile environment, engaged in Scrum.
  • Ability to work in an autonomous, self-responsible, and self-organized way.
  • Able to effectively communicate in English.
