Job Title: Backend Software Engineer

Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled Backend Software Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our engineering department, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining scalable Node.JS applications using modern frameworks and tools.

The ideal candidate should have 5+ years of experience in software development with strong expertise in backend technologies. You should be proficient in cloud-native solutions on platforms such as AWS or Google Cloud, and have a solid understanding of distributed systems, including load balancing, caching, and content delivery networks.

In this role, you will work on developing and maintaining complex technical systems, debugging and resolving issues efficiently, and implementing effective solutions. You will also work with messaging queues like Rabbit MQ to ensure seamless communication between microservices.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and maintain scalable Node.JS applications using modern frameworks and tools.
  2. Implement cloud-native solutions on platforms such as AWS or Google Cloud.
  3. Debug and resolve complex technical issues efficiently, with a focus on root cause analysis.
  4. Work with messaging queues like Rabbit MQ to ensure seamless communication between microservices.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Strong experience with Node.js, Redis, and RDBMS, with a deep understanding of database design and optimization techniques.
  • Familiarity with messaging queues and their integration with backend systems.
  • Solid understanding of distributed systems, including load balancing, caching, and content delivery networks.
  • Proven ability as a self-starter with strong debugging skills, able to analyze complex issues and implement effective solutions.
  • Experience in cloud-native development and a good grasp of the 12-factor app principles, with a focus on continuous integration and deployment.
