Business Intelligence Analyst

Data drives business decisions and it is the responsibility of the Business Intelligence Analyst to create actionable insights for organizations. This role involves working with large data sets, developing advanced analytics models, and creating solutions that deliver value to clients.

A successful Business Intelligence Analyst must have a strong understanding of statistical programming languages such as SQL, Python, and experience working with big data tools like GCP (BigQuery, VertexAI), AWS, MS Azure etc.

Some of the key responsibilities include:

  • Developing and maintaining dashboards and reports to present data insights to stakeholders
  • Designing and implementing advanced analytics models using machine learning algorithms and statistical techniques
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to integrate data-driven insights into business processes
  • Providing data visualization and storytelling expertise to communicate complex data insights to non-technical stakeholders

Requirements:

Experience & Education

  • 5+ years of progressive experience in data analytics and business intelligence
  • Bachelor's degree required; preferably in Computer Science, Analytics, Statistics, or related field
  • Proven experience in the IT services industry or managed services provider environment

Technical Expertise

  • Extensive experience in data science and advanced analytics delivery teams
  • Strong statistical programming experience - SQL, Python
  • Experience working with large data sets and big data tools like GCP (BigQuery, VertexAI), AWS, MS Azure etc.
  • Solid knowledge in at least one of the following – Multivariate Statistics, Reliability Models, Markov Models, Stochastic models, Classification, Regression, Clustering, Ensemble Modelling (random forest, boosted tree, etc.)
  • Experience in at least one of these business domains: Supply Chain, Marketing Analytics, Customer Analytics, Digital Marketing, eCommerce
  • Extensive experience in client engagement and business development
  • Ability to work in a global collaborative team environment
