Job Title: Head – Personal Loan (Digital Business)

We are seeking a dynamic and strategic leader to oversee our personal loan vertical. This role requires deep knowledge of unsecured lending, fintech innovations, customer acquisition, and credit policies.

The ideal candidate will have expertise in managing end-to-end P&L for the personal loan business. They should be able to define business plans, growth roadmaps, and product strategies that drive customer acquisition through digital channels.

This position involves developing innovative personal loan products aligned with customer needs. The successful candidate will optimize loan approval TAT, onboarding journeys, and digital lending processes. They will work closely with technology teams to build seamless digital experiences for customers.

Credit and risk management are crucial aspects of this role. The candidate should be able to collaborate with credit/risk teams to define policies, scorecards, and underwriting models. They will monitor portfolio quality, delinquency, and NPA trends. Robust fraud detection and collection strategies are essential for this position.

A strong leadership skills and ability to manage relationships with affiliates, fintech partners, credit bureaus, and lenders are required. Regular performance tracking and analysis are necessary to drive profitability through sustainable interest income, fees, and cost efficiency.

Requirements:
  • Education: MBA/CA/Finance/Business Management from a reputed institute.
  • Experience: 10–15 years of experience in retail lending, with at least 5 years in personal loans.
  • Proven track record in scaling unsecured loan portfolios in NBFCs/Fintechs/Banks.
  • Strong knowledge of credit policies, regulatory guidelines, and digital lending.
  • Excellent leadership, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Tech-savvy mindset with exposure to digital loan origination & alternative credit models.
