QA Automation Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Quality Assurance Automation Engineer to join our team.

  • Job Description:
  • Develop and execute automated test cases using UFT to ensure the quality of our software systems.
  • Create, maintain, and update test cases and regression scripts based on business requirements.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve software issues.
  • Attend project meetings to discuss testing progress and report on software quality.
  • Maintain QA standards and policies, ensuring adherence to industry best practices.
  • Provide estimates to support QA management in producing accurate schedules.
  • Support Product Management in testing various business scenarios and verifying functionality.
  • Technical Skills:
  • Experience with OpenText Unified Functional Testing (UFT).
  • Knowledge of bug tracking software (e.g. Jira) and Test Case Management Tools.
  • Ability to design, code, and document automated test cases within a defined framework.
  • Proficiency in creating new test cases based on requirements documents and guidance from Product and Development teams.
  • Translation of existing manual regression test cases into automated UFT tests.
  • Familiarity with financial products, e.g. FX, Rates, Credit, Commodities, etc…
  • Qualifications & Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree in science and/or engineering.
  • 3+ years of general Quality Assurance experience with multi-tiered complex trading and/or risk management systems in the financial industry.
  • 2+ years of experience working with UFT.
