International Business Development Manager

About the Role:

We are seeking a seasoned international business development manager to lead our cross-border sales efforts and drive revenue growth in emerging markets.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Identify and secure strategic partnerships with cross-border clients across regions, leveraging your expertise in international markets and cross-border deal-making.
  • Develop and execute a robust cross-border sales strategy aligned with regional market needs and regulations, driving merchant acquisition and revenue growth.
  • Foster strong relationships with key partners, marketplaces, financial institutions, and other stakeholders to promote our cross-border payments solutions.
  • Contribute strategically to new market entry and expansion initiatives, ensuring alignment with our growth objectives.
  • Develop compelling value propositions for our cross-border payment solutions, tailored to meet global compliance and regulatory standards.
  • Negotiate favorable terms and manage contract development to ensure mutually beneficial agreements.
  • Collaborate closely with internal teams to ensure seamless execution of cross-border sales activities and client onboarding.
  • Achieve targets related to gross merchandise value (GMV), revenue, and customer flows from international markets, driving profitability and sustainable growth.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in business development or sales within cross-border payments, fintech, or foreign exchange.
  • Proven expertise in international markets, with a strong track record in cross-border deal-making and managing global client relationships.
  • Demonstrated ability to meet and exceed revenue targets, with a results-driven approach.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex ideas effectively.
  • Ability to stay calm under pressure and manage high-stakes situations.
  • Strong consultative selling skills, with the ability to close high-value, cross-border deals.
