Job Opportunity

The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing stock levels, identifying potential issues, and ensuring timely delivery of goods.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage inventory cover of all raw and packing materials based on set norms and factory plans.
  • Highlight issues related to stock-outs, product freshness, and Best Before Date crossed stocks.
  • Review stock levels daily and identify constraints.
  • Ensure timely delivery of goods and keep commercial, factory, and quality teams informed about ongoing challenges.
  • Perform blind counts as per defined schedules and timely highlight differences with reasons to relevant teams.
  • Warehouse Management: Manage existing RM, PM warehouse operations, define, and monitor KPIs and SOPs for the raw warehouse.
  • Train and induct new staff and manage warehouse manpower through Continuous Monitoring and Control.
  • Ensure stock transfer complies with laws and regulations and maintain completeness of documentation and permits.
  • Ensure goods are received, stocked, dispatched according to quality standards.
  • Maintain RM and PM warehouses in good condition through 3PL services.
  • Follow established SOPs for warehouse management.
  • Act as the point of contact for inbound stocks and warehouse, resolve issues and concerns promptly.
  • Ensure warehouse operates within planned budgets and strive for cost optimization.
  • Transportation and Logistics: Plan and place vehicles from raw warehouse to factory for inventory replenishment, monitor and track performance of transportation vendors, improve efficiency in existing routes.
  • Assist business needs by ensuring transportation costs are within budget and drive efficiency to meet year-end targets.
  • Quality: Ensure effective implementation of Mars Quality Management Process (QMP) and comply with Quality and Food Safety requirements including Personnel Hygiene and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
  • Meet basic competency requirements mentioned in the job Role Skill Matrix to ensure satisfactory implementation of Quality and Food Safety requirements.
  • SES: Overall responsibility to ensure individual compliance to Mars Global Asset Conservation standards and other relevant local SES legislation.
  • Implement and maintain relevant SES Management systems in work areas, understand risks and controls, receive training, report incidents, and capture SES objectives as Key Result Areas (KRA's) in Total Maintenance System (TMS).
