Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Billing and Insurance Coordinator to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for generating, verifying, and finalizing inpatient and outpatient bills. You will ensure accurate charging of services, procedures, medicines, and consumables as per hospital policy.
You will handle cash, card, and online payment transactions, coordinate with wards, pharmacy, lab, and radiology departments for billing accuracy, and issue discharge clearance after bill settlement.
In addition, you will coordinate with TPAs, insurance companies, and corporate clients for cashless approvals, verify patient insurance credit eligibility, and obtain necessary documentation.
You will prepare and submit claims within the stipulated time frame, follow up with TPAs and corporates for claim settlement and reconciliation, and maintain records of outstanding bills to ensure timely collection.
Key Responsibilities:
- Knowledge of hospital billing processes, insurance, and TPA procedures
- Strong communication and coordination skills
- Good numerical and analytical ability
- Proficiency in hospital billing software and MS Excel, Word
Requirements:
- Graduate in Commerce, Finance, Healthcare Administration preferred
- 1-3 years of experience in hospital billing, credit cell, and TPA desk
