Automation Engineer - Quality Assurance

At our company, we are seeking a highly skilled Automation Engineer - Quality Assurance to join our team.

Job Summary:

We are looking for an experienced automation professional to design, develop and maintain robust automation frameworks for both mobile (iOS/Android) and web applications.

Responsibilities:

  • Automation Framework Development: Design and develop automation frameworks for mobile and web applications using Playwright or Cypress.
  • Mobile Automation: Develop scalable mobile automation tests with Appium or native mobile tools.
  • Scripting: Write clean, maintainable automation scripts in JavaScript/TypeScript.
  • BDD Scenarios: Implement BDD scenarios using Cucumber/Gherkin if required.
  • CI/CD Integration: Integrate automated test suites into CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, etc.).
  • API and Integration Testing: Conduct API and integration test automation using relevant tools.

Eligibility Criteria:

  • Experience: 4+ years building automation frameworks with JavaScript/TypeScript.
  • Playwright/Cypress Experience: Hands-on expertise in Playwright and/or Cypress for end-to-end testing.
  • Mobile Automation: Solid experience in mobile automation, preferably using Appium or equivalent tool.
  • Testing Methodologies: Strong understanding of testing methodologies: functional, regression, smoke, integration.
  • BDD Scenarios: Proficient in writing BDD scenarios (if tech stack includes Gherkin/Cucumber).
  • CI/CD Pipeline Integration: Experience integrating automation into CI/CD pipelines.
  • REST API Testing Tools: Solid knowledge of REST API testing tools (Postman, JMeter, etc.).
  • Communication and Problem-Solving Skills: Strong communication skills, ability to work in Agile teams, problem-solving mindset, and ability to work with minimal supervision.
