Accounting Position Summary
The accounts executive plays a pivotal role in managing financial transactions, ensuring accuracy in financial records, and supporting the team with various financial activities.
Responsibilities:
- Financial data recording and ledger maintenance.
- Regular bank statement reconciliation to identify and rectify discrepancies.
- Preparation of financial statements and closing procedures assistance.
- Tax return preparation and statutory filing submission, staying updated on relevant tax laws and regulations.
- Financial report generation to provide insights into the company's performance.
- Interaction with vendors, clients, and internal departments to address financial inquiries and resolve issues.
- Process efficiency and accuracy improvements identification and implementation.
- Commercial invoice, packing list, and export-related document preparation, coordinating with clients for necessary information.
- GST and TDS filing preparation.
Qualifications:
- A bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance is typically required.
- Proven work experience in accounting or finance is often essential, with specific years varying based on seniority.
- A strong understanding of accounting principles and financial regulations.
- Familiarity with accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel, for data analysis and reporting.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills to identify and resolve financial discrepancies.
- A high level of accuracy and attention to detail in managing financial records and preparing reports.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills to interact with various stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
