Job Title: Quality Assurance Specialist

We are seeking an organized and methodical Quality Assurance Engineer to join our growing team. As a key member of our QA team, you will play a critical role in developing, implementing, and automating quality processes to ensure our products meet specifications for quality, function, and reliability prior to delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop tools that create customer experiences that delight customers.
  • Develops and maintains functional test cases and automated scripts used in SDLC.
  • Executes manual and automated test cases that validate functionalities and code quality, following all formal test architectures and project processes.
  • Tracks metrics (e.g., velocity, code quality, defect density across all phases, testing metrics) for each sprint, reports the same to management.
  • Documents results of testing, including expected behavior, actual behavior, and detailed steps to reproduce defects.
  • Provides quality sign-off to project teams and executes testing duties as assigned.
  • Incorporates client usage and feedback into test scripts to mimic end user behavior in QA.
  • Diagnoses problems and reports bugs and enhancements to Agile squad.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in STEM or related field is required.
  • 3+ years of application testing experience.
  • Experienced with use case generation, manual testing, and bug lifecycle management.
  • Understanding of relational database models and experience with GUI tools to interact with them.
  • Experience working in Agile environment.
  • Exposure to using bug tracking and test case management tools.
  • Experience testing and working with multi-browser and mobile device systems.
  • Good customer empathy.
  • Can-do attitude.
  • Excellent written and communication skills.
  • Comfortable working in fast-paced environment.
  • Passionate about building amazing products.
  • Strong analysis and autonomous problem discovery and solving skills.
  • Experience in C#, JUnit/TestNG, Jenkins, Playwright, Selenium, SoapUI.
  • Experience in creating Playwright, Selenium, REST API, JUnit test automation.
  • Experienced with API testing using tools such as Postman and JMeter.
