Job Description:

As a seasoned professional in the field of AI-led digital transformation, you will be responsible for leading end-to-end delivery of projects that cater to the needs of public sector and PSU clients. Your primary focus will be on ensuring that project outcomes are met within the stipulated time frame, budget, and scope.

The ideal candidate should possess a strong technical understanding of AI/Gen AI, cloud engineering, and software engineering practices. Additionally, exceptional stakeholder management skills are essential to successfully steer engagements through the unique complexities of the government/PSU environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Program Delivery & Governance
  • Lead the delivery of AI/Gen AI projects from start to finish, ensuring timely completion and meeting of project objectives.
  • Develop and implement effective governance frameworks, progress reporting mechanisms, and escalation procedures to ensure smooth project execution.
  • Establish key performance indicators (KPIs), service level agreements (SLAs), and compliance requirements to ensure project success.
  • Stakeholder Management
  • Serve as the primary client interface for PSU stakeholders, managing relationships with C-level executives, IT leadership, and functional business users.
  • Navigate complex internal bureaucratic processes, align diverse stakeholder interests, and drive consensus in environments with multiple decision layers.
  • Manage sensitive political, cultural, and interpersonal dynamics with tact and diplomacy.
  • Technical Oversight
  • Provide technical oversight across AI/Gen AI model development, cloud-native deployments, and software engineering.
  • Review architecture and solution design to ensure scalability, compliance, and performance.
  • Collaborate with engineering, data science, and cloud teams to resolve technical challenges and ensure project success.
  • Risk & Issue Management
  • Anticipate and proactively mitigate project risks, addressing potential issues before they impact project timelines or budgets.
  • Manage conflicts between client and internal teams, ensuring seamless project execution.
  • Team Leadership & Growth
  • Lead cross-functional teams comprising AI engineers, data scientists, cloud architects, and business analysts.
  • Coach team members on delivery discipline, public sector client management, and compliance-driven execution.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Proven experience in delivering AI-led digital transformation projects in India's public sector and PSU ecosystem.
  • Strong technical understanding of AI/Gen AI, cloud engineering, and software engineering practices.
  • Exceptional stakeholder management skills, including ability to navigate complex internal bureaucratic processes and manage sensitive political, cultural, and interpersonal dynamics.
  • Ability to lead cross-functional teams and coach team members on delivery discipline and public sector client management.
