We're looking for a skilled PostgreSQL Developer with ETL expertise to join our team.

Job Description

A PostgreSQL Developer with ETL expertise is responsible for designing and developing database schemas, functions, and views using PostgreSQL. The ideal candidate will have a strong proficiency in PostgreSQL and experience working with cloud-based database solutions, particularly Azure.

This role involves utilizing advanced techniques to ensure that the database architecture is efficient, scalable, and optimized for performance, especially for very large datasets.

The successful candidate will work closely with development teams, data engineers, and business analysts to understand and fulfill data requirements.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Strong proficiency in PostgreSQL
  • Advanced experience in database design, data modeling, and performance optimization for handling very large datasets
  • Expertise in integrating customer data via APIs and ensuring data synchronization between systems
  • 5+ years of experience in database development, with a focus on PostgreSQL
  • Proven experience in database optimization, stored procedures, and performance tuning
  • Experience working with cloud-based database solutions (particularly Azure)
  • Experience with or knowledge of the CPG industry and familiarity with TPM (Trade Promotion Management) concepts is a plus
  • Experience working with GitHub, Linux, and IntelliJ IDEA
