Bookkeeper Position

A highly skilled bookkeeper is required to oversee the financial operations of multiple locations, ensuring timely period closes and accurate unit economics.



About this Role:

The ideal candidate will have experience in SMB or franchise bookkeeping, with a strong understanding of QuickBooks Online and Xero. They must be proficient in reconciling data from various POS systems and marketplaces, as well as maintaining clean bank feeds and mapping rules.

Responsibilities include recording daily sales summaries, tracking inventory/COGS and waste, managing deferred revenue, and processing payments and credit memos. The successful candidate will also prepare payroll inputs, reconcile payroll journals, and track labor % by location/department.

Additionally, they will prepare sales/use tax workpapers across states, coordinate e-filings, and support CPA with 941/940, state filings, and annual returns. They must maintain audit-ready records and deliver location P&L, balance sheet, cash flow, and consolidated roll-ups on a 4-5-4 retail calendar or monthly close.
