Lead Environmental Impact Assessment Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled EIA specialist to conduct comprehensive environmental impact assessments for large-scale development projects.

  • Conduct thorough EIA studies ensuring compliance with Indian environmental legislation and regulations.
  • Collaborate in developing robust Environmental Management Plans (EMPs), baseline monitoring protocols, and mitigation strategies.
  • Ensure regulatory compliance and assist in preparing documents for obtaining necessary clearances.

Site Investigation & Data Analysis

  • Coordinate site visits for data collection, sampling, and stakeholder consultations.
  • Supervise third-party monitoring agencies as needed.

Stakeholder Engagement

  • Assist in conducting public consultations and community outreach activities.
  • Liaise with clients, consultants, and regulatory bodies for project-related matters.

Reporting & Data Interpretation

  • Prepare technical reports, presentations, and data analysis for environmental submissions.
  • Contribute to drafting and finalizing reports in accordance with client and regulatory requirements.

Desired Skills:

  • Excellent knowledge of Indian environmental laws and regulatory frameworks.
  • Experience in baseline environmental monitoring and data interpretation.
  • Proficiency in technical writing and report preparation.
  • Strong analytical, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
  • Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint); GIS exposure is an asset.
