This pivotal role demands a strategic thinker who can align platform engineering with business goals, drive continuous improvement in performance, scalability, stability, and security.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Define and execute a platform engineering strategy that fosters innovation and growth.
  • Lead global R&D roadmap and product transformation initiatives to stay ahead of industry trends.
  • Build, mentor, and retain a high-performing engineering team capable of delivering cutting-edge solutions.
  • Oversee the development and operations of a cloud-native SaaS platform that meets the evolving needs of customers.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Product, Design, Sales, and Customer Success to ensure seamless integration and maximum value.
  • Make informed technical decisions balancing engineering, business, and customer needs.
  • Drive continuous improvement in infrastructure cost management, software development, and deployment processes.
  • Champion Agile methodologies and foster a data-driven engineering culture that encourages experimentation and learning.
  • Represent engineering to senior stakeholders and report on progress and challenges.

Candidate Requirements:

  • 20+ years in software engineering, with 15+ years in SaaS platform/product development.
  • Proven leadership managing teams of 100+ engineers across diverse skill sets.
  • Expertise in cloud-native architectures, containers, APIs, Infrastructure-as-Code, and serverless computing.
  • Strong understanding of software and infrastructure cost management.
  • Technical skills: Java, .NET, AWS, RedHat, ETL tools, front-end technologies; familiarity with Github Copilot and Jira.
  • Experience coaching, mentoring, and building engineering talent pipelines.
