Job Description:

We are seeking a visionary System Designer to advance the state of the art in cellular technology. As a key member of our Wireless Research and Development (WRD) team, you will be responsible for developing novel technology enhancements for inclusion in next-generation 3GPP/O-RAN standards and products.

Key Responsibilities:

  • ">
  • Design and develop forward-looking wireless systems, focusing on 5G advanced and 6G features, O-RAN, and Digital Twin designs.">
  • Collaborate across functional teams to meet and exceed system-level requirements and standards.">
  • Engage with product teams to provide technical overviews, gather product perspectives, and drive Qualcomm proposals for standards.">

Required Skills and Qualifications:

">

To succeed in this role, you must possess a strong foundation in engineering, information systems, computer science, or related fields. Additionally, you should have experience with wireless standards, especially in areas like RAN architecture, protocols, and interfaces.

">

A Master's degree in engineering, information systems, computer science, or related fields is required, along with 4+ years of Systems Engineering, software development, or related work experience.

">

Experience with programming languages such as C/C++, Python, and/or MATLAB is essential, as well as hands-on expertise in 4G/5G Upper Layers protocols.
