Data Analytics Lead

Birlasoft is seeking a highly skilled Technical Project Manager to lead data analytics initiatives. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in project management, data analytics, and Agile methodologies.
About the RoleWe are looking for an experienced professional with a proven track record in leading and delivering complex projects. The successful candidate will oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of data analytics initiatives while leading a team of technical resources.
Main Responsibilities:- Project Planning and Execution: Lead end-to-end planning, coordination, and execution of data analytics projects, ensuring adherence to project scope, timelines, and quality standards.
- Team Management: Manage a team of 15+ technical resources, fostering collaboration, communication, and a culture of continuous improvement.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Collaborate closely with cross-functional stakeholders, including data scientists, analysts, engineers, and business leaders, to align project goals with business objectives.
- Risk Management: Monitor project progress, identifying potential risks, issues, and bottlenecks, and implement mitigation strategies to keep projects on track.
- Communication: Use excellent communication skills to provide regular project updates to executive leadership, stakeholders, and project teams.
- 5+ years of Technical Project Manager experience in driving project management activities in Data lake and Data warehousing (DW).
- Strong understanding of DW process execution from acquiring data from source systems to visualization.
- Exposure to Azure skills – Azure ADF, Azure Databricks, Synapse, SQL, PowerBI for minimum 3+ years or experience in managing at least 2 end-to-end on Azure Cloud projects.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
- In-depth knowledge of data analytics concepts, tools, and technologies, including data warehousing, data modeling, data visualization, and machine learning.
- Exceptional leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire, mentor, and guide technical professionals.
- Demonstrated success in delivering data analytics projects on time, within scope, and meeting or exceeding quality expectations.
The estimated annual salary for this position is $120,000 - $150,000, based on industry standards and the level of experience required. This figure may vary depending on individual qualifications and location.
