About the Role
As a seasoned Data Scientist specializing in Natural Language Processing, you will play a pivotal role in driving innovation and shaping the future of our data-driven initiatives at Tiger Analytics. This position requires a strong foundation in NLP techniques, including tokenization, part-of-speech tagging, named entity recognition, sentiment analysis, and language modeling.
Your responsibilities will encompass crafting sophisticated frameworks tailored for diverse NLP use cases, contributing to developing cutting-edge solutions that empower seamless deployment of NLP models across various applications.
We are seeking an expert with extensive experience in Text-based analytics using Deep learning or Language models. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional project teams to analyze and address real-life business challenges, providing insightful solutions fueled by NLP innovations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Crafting NLP frameworks for diverse use cases
- Developing robust, reusable codes and libraries for NLP model deployment
- Leading Text-based analytics projects using Deep learning or Language models
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive business innovation
Requirements:
This role requires a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. A solid 4+ years of hands-on experience in NLP is essential, along with proficiency in Python programming and expertise in deep learning frameworks like TensorFlow, Keras, PyTorch, and Theano.
Familiarity with state-of-the-art language models such as BERT, FastText, GloVe, and Elmo is also desired, demonstrating your nuanced understanding of linguistic complexities. Additionally, insight into the software development life cycle is necessary to integrate NLP solutions into broader development processes seamlessly.
A good understanding of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) is beneficial, as well as strong problem-solving and analytical skills with exceptional communication abilities.
Estimated Salary: $120,000 - $180,000 per year
