About the Position

We are seeking an experienced Game Engine Programmer to fill this key role in our engineering team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and implementing game engine systems for video games.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and Implementation: Develop high-quality game engine systems that meet the specific needs of our projects, ensuring seamless integration with existing technology.
  • Source Code Customization: Collaborate closely with the source code of game engines to customize and optimize performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing effective solutions.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with artists, designers, and other engineers to integrate and develop new game features, tools, and workflows, fostering a culture of innovation and teamwork.
  • Performance Analysis and Optimization: Analyze and improve engine performance on various platforms to ensure the best possible player experience, continuously refining and perfecting the gaming experience.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Game Development, or a related field, demonstrating a strong foundation in software development and computer science principles.
  • Experience: Solid experience in video game development, with a specific focus on game engine architecture, and a proven track record of delivering high-quality results under tight deadlines.
  • Programming Skills: Proficient in Scripting, C++ or C#, and familiar with other programming languages used in game development, with a solid understanding of software development methodologies and practices.
  • Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of computer graphics, physics, and game AI programming, with a passion for staying up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies.
  • Soft Skills: Excellent problem-solving skills, ability to work effectively under pressure, and strong communication and collaboration skills, with a focus on building and maintaining strong relationships with colleagues and stakeholders.
