Job Description

Geekx is seeking an experienced frontend developer to take ownership of end-to-end frontend architecture and development as an individual contributor. This role requires deep technical expertise, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to deliver high-quality, scalable, and performant user interfaces.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop complex frontend applications with a focus on scalability, performance, and responsiveness.
  • Collaborate with product managers, backend engineers, and designers to build seamless, user-focused solutions that meet business requirements.
  • Maintain and optimize existing frontend codebase to ensure it adheres to industry best practices and remains up-to-date with emerging technologies.
  • Stay ahead of the curve in terms of new frontend trends, tools, and frameworks to suggest adoption where relevant.
Required Skills & Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess the following skills and qualifications:

  • 8+ years of experience in frontend development with a proven track record of building and scaling complex applications.
  • Expertise in React.js, Next.js, JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML5, CSS3, and state management techniques (Redux, MobX, Context API, etc.).
  • Solid understanding of UI/UX principles, accessibility, and responsive design.
  • Familiarity with testing frameworks (Jest, Cypress, etc.) and CI/CD processes.
  • Experience with cloud deployment is a plus.
