Job Title: Executive/ Senior Executive- Statutory Audit

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Executive/Senior Executive - Statutory Audit to join our team. This role is responsible for conducting statutory audits, providing assurance on the financial statements of clients, and identifying areas of improvement.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of auditing standards, be able to analyze complex financial data, and communicate effectively with clients. He/she should also possess excellent leadership skills, be able to motivate and manage teams, and demonstrate a proactive approach to problem-solving.

In this role, you will be responsible for:

  • Planning and executing audits in accordance with auditing standards and regulatory requirements;
  • Providing high-quality audit reports and recommendations to clients;
  • Leading and managing audit teams to ensure efficient and effective delivery of services;
  • Identifying and addressing risks and control weaknesses; and
  • Developing and maintaining relationships with clients to provide value-added services.

Requirements:

  • PG – Chartered Accountant (CA) qualification or equivalent;
  • 0-2 years post-qualification experience in auditing;
  • Strong knowledge of auditing standards and accounting principles;
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills;
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple assignments simultaneously;
  • Results-oriented and proactive approach to problem-solving;
  • Team player with a collaborative mindset;
  • Excellent presentation and English communication skills required.

Responsibilities:

  • Audit planning, execution, and finalization;
  • Adding value by applying specialist knowledge to client portfolios;
  • Assisting in client management and relationship development;
  • Statutory compliance under various laws such as income tax act, sales tax etc.;
  • Regular submissions/posts to knowledge databases;
  • Coaching and mentoring junior members of staff;
  • Continuous monitoring of time and costs during the assignment.
