Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Manufacturing Operations Manager to oversee the production process and ensure efficient workflow.

  • Develop and implement daily production plans, aligning with target turnover goals.
  • Manage the assembly area, delegating tasks, monitoring processes, and controlling material usage to meet safety, quality, delivery, and cost targets.
  • Collaborate with technicians across departments (Logistics, Warehouse, Design) to provide support and coordinate activities.
  • Monitor key performance indicators for assembly groups and initiate measures to address any issues.
  • Conduct regular meetings with team members to discuss production operations and provide feedback on safety and quality concerns.
  • Plan, assign, and assist in training and developing technicians, tracking progress through skills matrices and development plans.
  • Lead and execute improvement projects and activities within the production area.
  • Ensure compliance with internal and external ISO audit requirements, handling documentation, processes, and employee training.
  • Track input man hours versus output man hours to release monthly productivity figures for responsible assembly groups.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Production Engineering.
  • Typically, 0-3 years of experience in a related field, demonstrating key responsibilities and knowledge as presented in the job profile.
  • Excellent English language skills for professional communication and leadership.
  • Basic knowledge of Environmental Health and Safety regulations and procedures.
  • Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing principles and techniques for optimizing processes and eliminating waste.
  • Basic computer knowledge, including spreadsheet software and presentation software.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Demonstrated knowledge of fundamental concepts, practices, and procedures for supervised groups.
  • Understanding of supervisory approaches for work direction, motivation, performance management, and disciplinary action.
  • Flexibility in working approach as per business requirements.
  • Negotiation skills for resolving issues at grass-roots levels.
