Procurement Executive

Welcome to a role where you will be responsible for the end-to-end procurement process of raw materials and packaging. As Procurement Executive, you will lead the sourcing, procurement, and vendor development initiatives for all Raw Materials (RM) and Packaging Materials (PM). Your key responsibility will be to ensure the right materials are available at the right cost, time, and quality to support our production and new product development needs.

This is a critical role requiring strong commercial acumen, cross-functional collaboration, and execution excellence. If you have a passion for procurement and a talent for building relationships, this could be your dream job.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Sourcing and Procurement: Identify, evaluate, and select suitable vendors for raw materials and packaging based on quality, cost, and service expectations.
  • Vendor Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with existing vendors to ensure uninterrupted supply of high-quality materials at competitive prices.
  • Contract Negotiation: Lead price negotiations and contractual agreements with suppliers to secure the best possible terms and conditions.
  • Supply Chain Risk Management: Develop strategies to mitigate supply risks and ensure continuity of supply chain operations.
  • Inventory Management: Oversee inventory levels, monitor stock movements, and optimize storage space to minimize waste and reduce costs.
  • Continuous Improvement: Identify areas for improvement in the procurement process and implement changes to increase efficiency, productivity, and quality.

As Procurement Executive, you will have the opportunity to work closely with cross-functional teams, including R&D, NPD, and logistics, to drive business growth and profitability.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management or related field.
  • 6-8 years of experience in procurement, preferably in FMCG or manufacturing sectors.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to negotiate effectively.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders.
  • Working knowledge of ERP systems and procurement software tools.
