Job Overview
The role of Assistant Manager – Product Science is pivotal in driving scientific excellence and innovation within the beverages and RTD business. As a key member of the research team, you will be responsible for developing innovative products, processes, and applications that enhance market share and unlock new revenue streams.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive top-line growth through leveraging scientific expertise to develop novel beverages and RTD products, ensuring alignment with company profitability targets.
- Proactively identify, assess, and manage risks associated with research, product development, claims, and communication, adhering to regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver measurable financial returns and contribute positively to the bottom line.
Requirements
- Postgraduate degree in life science, food technology, or nutrition stream.
- 8-10 years of experience in the F&B industry, with a focus on scouting research publications and extracting relevant information.
- Strong analytical skills, with the ability to identify specific evaluations needed for project progression.
- Hands-on experience in liaising with reputable academic institutions and labs.
Desirable Qualifications
- Good understanding of patent scanning and international patents.
- Experience in managing research, claims, and analytical needs in high-growth spaces.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work with diverse teams.
