Job Description:

Technical Lead

We are seeking a skilled Technical Lead to oversee the onboarding of external partners, including 3rd party logistics providers. This role involves collecting EDI specifications, initiating testing with EDI partners and monitoring post-onboarding activities.

The successful candidate will have experience in working on support projects involving external partners like SPS Commerce - True commerce etc. They should possess good technical skills in writing database queries using SQL- PLSQL and understanding of File transfer protocols (FTP- SFTP) and UNIX files- directory structures.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support modifications and troubleshooting of EDI interfaces (preferably Oracle)
  • Research and execute action plans to address EDI issues and errors with external partners, escalating to the appropriate internal business partners for support when necessary
  • Effectively communicate impact and importance of specific data elements to ensure successful and timely EDI transmissions, respond to EDI questions, and provide additional 1:1 Support

Requirements:

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues
  • Proven ability to read and understand EDI data formats and structures such as X12 & EDIFACT, XML, Flat Files etc
  • Experience supporting EDI interfaces and communication with external partners
