Job Description

The primary function of this role is to oversee and manage all aspects of the company's financial operations.

This includes ensuring timely and accurate closure of financial records, preparing and reviewing Management Information Systems reports, and overseeing compliance with key regulations.

In addition, the individual in this role will be responsible for identifying areas for process improvements and implementing efficiencies in existing financial systems and practices.

They will also assist in the preparation and analysis of financial forecasts, budgets, and strategic planning.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Closure of Financial Records: Ensure timely and accurate closure of the company's financial records on a monthly and annual basis.
  • Preparation of MIS Reports: Prepare and review Management Information Systems reports, providing insights and recommendations for business decision-making.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Oversee and ensure compliance with key regulations including Companies Act, Income Tax Act, GST, and other indirect taxes.
  • Process Improvement: Identify areas for process improvements and bring efficiencies in existing financial systems and practices.
  • Financial Planning & Analysis: Assist in the preparation and analysis of financial forecasts, budgets, and strategic planning.
Requirements:

Chartered Accountant (CA) or Semi-qualified Chartered Accountant (CA)/ MBA-Finance with 2-3 years of post-qualification experience.

  • Background: Background in accounting, compliance, and financial reporting, exposure to healthcare or startup environments is preferred.
  • Analytical Skills: Strong analytical skills with the ability to provide actionable insights from financial data.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in financial software, including Zoho books, and advanced Excel skills.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams and senior management.
