Job Summary:

  • Lead daily financial operations, including accounts payable/receivable, payroll compliance, and general ledger management.
  • Prepare and present monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements to senior management.
  • Monitor cash flow, investments, and cash forecasting.
  • Manage budgeting processes and support departmental budget planning.

Accounting and Compliance:

  • Evaluate GAAP and local tax regulations compliance.
  • Ensure timely and accurate filing of GST returns (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, GSTR-9, GSTR-9C etc).
  • Handle GST audits, assessments, and notices.
  • File income tax returns in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Manage statutory, tax audits, and respond within the specified time frame.
  • Demonstrate strong knowledge of transfer pricing compliance and documentation.
  • Timely and accurately file forms and returns with the Ministry of Corporate Affairs (e.g., MGT-7, AOC-4, DIR-3 KYC etc).
  • Filing with RBI (e.g., FLA return, FC-TRS etc) must be done promptly and accurately.
  • Maintain records for all FEMA-related transactions.
  • Coordinate internal and external audits.
  • Keep accounting records up-to-date.
  • Implement and monitor internal controls for asset protection.

Strategic Support:

  • Provide actionable financial insights and analysis for strategic decision-making.
  • Collaborate with senior management on financial planning and risk management.
  • Analyze financial performance by comparing actual results with plans and forecasts.
  • Support ad-hoc projects and analysis as needed.

Team Leadership:

  • Supervise and mentor accounting staff.
  • Continuously improve financial processes and systems.
  • Train staff on financial systems and compliance requirements.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
  • 8-12 years of experience in financial management and accounting.
  • Demonstrate strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial regulations, and reporting standards.
  • Proficiency in financial software (e.g., NetSuite, Tally etc).
  • Advanced Excel and data analysis skills are required.
