Key Role: Financial Operations Specialist

The Financial Operations Specialist is a crucial position responsible for ensuring the efficient management and maintenance of the financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and consolidation activities within the system.

Primary Responsibilities:
  • System Administration & Maintenance:
    • Administer and maintain the CCH Tagetik application, including configurations, workflows, and security settings to ensure optimal functionality.
    • Monitor system performance and troubleshoot technical issues to guarantee seamless operations.
    • Manage user access and roles to safeguard data security and integrity.
    • Coordinate system updates, patches, and upgrades with IT teams and vendors to minimize disruptions.
  • Financial Process Support:
    • Support financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and consolidation activities in Tagetik, ensuring accuracy and integrity of financial data within the system.
    • Work closely with finance teams in designing and optimizing calculation rules, allocation models, and reporting templates to enhance financial reporting.
  • User Support & Training:
    • Provide technical and functional support to end users, including troubleshooting and resolving system issues to improve user experience.
    • Develop and maintain training materials and documentation for business users to facilitate system adoption and efficiency.
    • Conduct user training sessions to enhance system knowledge and skills.
  • Data Management & Integration:
    • Oversee data imports, ETL processes, and integrations with SAP, Sarepta, and other financial systems to ensure accurate and timely data reconciliation.
    • Maintain data validation procedures to guarantee accuracy and consistency.
    • Collaborate with IT teams to enhance data automation and streamline workflows, minimizing manual interventions.
  • Reporting & Analytics:
    • Develop and maintain custom reports and dashboards using Tagetik reporting tools to provide actionable insights and informed decision-making.
    • Assist finance teams with report customization, KPIs, and variance analysis to optimize financial performance.
    • Ensure compliance with reporting standards and corporate policies to maintain transparency and accountability.
  • Continuous Improvement & Compliance:
    • Identify opportunities for process improvements and system enhancements to optimize financial operations and reduce costs.
    • Ensure compliance with financial regulations, IT policies, and data governance standards to maintain a robust risk management framework.
    • Work collaboratively with finance, IT, and external vendors to implement best practices and new features, driving innovation and excellence in financial operations.
