Job Details

Key Responsibilities
- Oversee medical care and clinical service quality at the unit, ensuring compliance with statutory requirements such as MTP, PCPNDT, AERB, and Radiation Safety.
- Analyze department mix, consultant needs, and performance of retainers to optimize clinical outcomes and resource allocation.
- Participate in tariff revisions, clinical compensation, and rationalization of costs to ensure efficient hospital operations.
- Monitor clinician quality, accreditation, and quality assurance services to maintain high standards of patient care.
- Conduct and participate in various medical committees, including Advisory Board, HOD, Infection Control, Ethics, etc., to drive strategic decision-making and improve patient outcomes.
- Oversee quality improvement initiatives, patient safety, and recognition programs to enhance staff engagement and patient satisfaction.
- Manage consultant recruitment, induction, credentialing, contracts, and performance appraisal to ensure seamless integration of new talent into the team.
- Address patient concerns and medico-legal issues in coordination with treating doctors and legal teams to resolve complex cases efficiently.
- Provide clinical input for medico-legal cases and new projects to inform strategic decision-making and improve patient outcomes.
- Engage and motivate team members through training, performance management, and recognition to drive staff engagement and productivity.
- Recommend junior clinical staff and initiate academic activities, including DNB/FNB/Fellowships, to develop future leaders within the organization.
- Ensure doctor training on patient safety and service excellence to promote a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
- Prepare and optimize biomedical equipment budgets and utilization to ensure efficient use of resources.
- Oversee medical records digitization and conduct awareness programs to promote electronic documentation and reduce paperwork.
- Facilitate medical audits and JCI/NABH accreditation to maintain high standards of patient care and quality assurance.
- Manage media relations, government liaison, and support hospital profitability and budget planning to enhance our reputation and drive business growth.
Qualification
- MBBS with MBA/MHA or equivalent qualification in healthcare management or related field.
Estimated Salary Range
₹200,000 - ₹300,000 per month depending on experience and qualifications.
