Job Overview :

As a seasoned IT professional, you will play a key role in developing large-scale enterprise solutions using IBM iSeries system development. You will be responsible for designing, building, and testing applications using IBM iSeries RPGLE, CLLE programming, and ILE (Integrated Language Environment).

Key Responsibilities :

  • Design and develop complex applications using IBM iSeries systems.
  • Develop expertise in DB2 for iSeries (SQL optimization, stored procedures, data modeling), and strong understanding of iSeries operating systems (OS/400) and system tools.
  • Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to integrate iSeries system integration technologies (e.g. API, MQ, XML, FTP).
  • Stay up-to-date with Agile software development methodology and DevSecOps technologies such as CI/CD and set of tools like Jenkins, Ansible, G3 etc.
  • Communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Requirements :

  • University graduate with a degree in IT or related discipline with minimum 10+ years' hands-on experience in IBM iSeries system development, preferably in large-scale enterprise environments.
  • Expertise in IBM iSeries RPGLE, CLLE programming, and ILE (Integrated Language Environment), and solid experience in application design, development, and testing.
  • Proficiency in DB2 for iSeries (SQL optimization, stored procedures, data modeling), and strong understanding of iSeries operating systems (OS/400) and system tools.
  • Good understanding in Agile software development methodology and DevSecOps technologies such as CI/CD and set of tools like Jenkins, Ansible, G3 etc.
  • Effective English writing and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications :

  • Custody domain knowledge is desired but not a must.
  • Familiarity with Java/Python for hybrid application development will be advantageous.
