Job Title:

Cloud FinOps Specialist

Join a pioneering cloud financial operations team and help shape the future of intelligent cloud platforms. As a Cloud FinOps Specialist, you'll bring expertise in cloud financial management, cost optimization practices, and cross-functional stakeholder alignment.

This role is ideal for someone with hands-on experience in AWS cost management (multi-cloud experience is a strong plus), and relevant FinOps certifications.

About the Job:

Advise on cloud cost management strategies across AWS (mandatory), and optionally GCP & Azure.

Provide insights into common FinOps use cases such as showback/chargeback, forecasting, budget guardrails, anomaly detection, rightsizing, and workload optimization.

Collaborate with our engineering and product teams to map real-world challenges into product features.

Share expertise in cost allocation, tagging strategies, and governance frameworks.

Highlight gaps in current market tools and suggest opportunities for differentiation.

Guide adoption of FinOps best practices in alignment with the FinOps Foundation principles.

Required Skills:

  • 3–6+ years of experience in FinOps, Cloud Cost Optimization, or Cloud Financial Management.
  • Strong practical expertise in AWS Cost Explorer, CUR, CloudWatch, Trusted Advisor, and Budgets.
  • FinOps Certified Practitioner / Advanced Practitioner certification is mandatory.
  • Proven experience implementing chargeback/showback models, forecasting, and cloud governance.
  • Solid technical understanding of cloud architecture and usage drivers (compute, storage, networking).
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills (Finance and Engineering).
