About the Role

As a UI Platform SDET II, you will be an integral part of our team, working alongside engineers to develop and improve our products. Your expertise in testing and automation will be crucial in increasing testing efficiency and effectiveness across multiple aspects of our business.

  • Engage in backlog grooming, planning, and code reviews
  • Troubleshoot complex problems and provide suggestions for resolution
  • Extend test frameworks to create new patterns of testing
  • Collaborate with the team through active listening, problem-solving, and knowledge sharing
  • Continuously improve team efficiency, personal skills, and team skills
  • Apply technology trends and industry innovations to our products
  • Take initiatives and be resourceful
  • Take ownership and create accountability within the team
  • Debate ideas and rally behind decisions

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need to develop, maintain, and execute automated tests using current and new frameworks, as well as implement other test tools based on your expertise. You will also liaise with developers, architects, develop and maintain test sets, and create additional tools to simplify tasks. The key requirements for this role include:

  • 4+ years of experience as a SDET working across the full tech stack
  • Experience with popular UI Test frameworks and methodologies
  • Experience with public-facing and internal APIs using REST and software developed within a Micro-Service architecture
  • Experience using TypeScript and/or JavaScript
  • Experience in Java and Junit 4-5 or related languages
  • Proficient with Cypress or knowledge of Protractor/Selenium
  • Knowledge of HTML, CSS, and related web technologies
  • Experience using and setting up CI/CD pipelines
  • Experience building and maintaining test frameworks
  • Experience working in an Agile development, test and deploy environment
  • Experience in deep diving into logs, code and other elements to understand and solve problems
  • Excitement about new technologies and a willingness to mentor and share knowledge with other engineers
