The Enterprise AI team has established a Core AI Data Platforms Team to develop, operate, and run the AI and BI Data that facilitate time-to-market for reporting, analytics, and data science teams. The team's goal is to create an environment where these teams can run experiments, train models, and generate insights.

We are seeking a skilled Data Platform Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for administering and supporting the Tableau platform, ensuring its stability, reliability, and performance.

About the Role:

  1. Platform Administration: Administer and support the Tableau platform, ensuring its stability, reliability, and performance.
  2. Collaboration: Collaborate with business teams and data analysts to enhance reporting and visualization capabilities.
  3. Security Management: Implement and manage security protocols for the Tableau platform.
  4. Performance Monitoring: Monitor system performance, conduct regular system audits, and provide performance tuning.
  5. User Access Management: Manage user access and maintain documentation for system configurations, processes, and service records.
  6. Data Integration: Facilitate the migration and integration of data sources with Tableau to ensure seamless data flow and accurate reporting.
  7. Build Activities: Support production and non-production build activities.
  8. Troubleshooting: Troubleshoot Tableau server incidents related to upgrades, patches, data source connectivity, and access.
  9. Best Practices: Drive the adoption of best practices in data visualization and reporting within the organization.
  10. Industry Trends: Stay abreast of the latest industry trends and updates in Tableau solutions.

About You:

  1. Experience: Candidate should have 5 to 8 years of experience as a Tableau Administrator.
  2. Analysis and Interpretation: Ability to analyze application and server logs, error interpretation.
  3. Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills and strong collaboration skills.
  4. Technical Skills: Knowledge of SQL and experience with Python scripting.
  5. AWS Services: Familiarity with AWS services and Snowflake is a plus.
  6. Certification: Certification in Tableau Server Administration.
  7. Growth Mindset: A growth mindset with a willingness to adapt and continuously learn.
  8. Collaboration Skills: Excellent collaboration skills to work with various stakeholders and team members.
  9. Problem Solving: Ability to effectively articulate complex problems and solutions to diverse teams.
  10. Improvement: Proven track record of driving improvements and maintaining high standards in data management and reporting.
