Job Title:

Retail Store Manager


Job Description: As a pivotal member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the store, driving sales, and ensuring an exceptional customer experience. You will manage all aspects of daily store operations, including opening and closing procedures, ensure the store is well-maintained, clean, and visually appealing at all times, monitor and manage inventory levels to optimize product availability.

Sales leadership is a key responsibility as you drive sales growth and meet/exceed sales targets through effective staff management and motivation. You provide guidance and support to sales associates to enhance their product knowledge and customer service skills, implement sales strategies and promotions to maximize revenue, foster a customer-centric environment, ensure an exceptional shopping experience, handle customer inquiries, complaints, and issues promptly and professionally, build and maintain strong customer relationships.

Team Management is another important aspect where you recruit, train, and supervise store staff, create a positive and collaborative work environment, conduct regular performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback. Additionally, you are responsible for monitoring and managing the store's financial performance, implementing cost-effective measures to optimize profitability, ensuring adherence to security and safety protocols, complying with all relevant regulations and company policies. Your responsibilities also include recruiting, training, supervising, evaluating employees, creating a positive work environment, managing employee relations, handling employee conflicts, terminating underperforming employees, analyzing employee performance data to inform hiring and training decisions, conducting exit interviews to understand why top performers leave the company, building a high-performing team by selecting, developing, and promoting talent that shares the company’s vision and values, fostering collaboration among team members, encouraging open communication within teams, recognizing and rewarding outstanding team contributions, mentoring junior team members to help them develop new skills.
