About the Role:

  • This is an exciting opportunity to join our team as a skilled developer specializing in IBM AS400 iSeries platform and RPGLE programming.
  • You will be responsible for designing and implementing efficient solutions using SEU, PDM, and DFU, ensuring seamless integration with Integrated Language Environment (ILE) applications.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and debug complex RPG/CL programs, leveraging expertise in creating sub-procedures, subroutines, and service programs.
  • Create and manage spool files, utilizing iSeries Navigator and Integrated File System (IFS) for effective data management.
  • Collaborate with junior developers to deliver projects successfully, providing guidance and support throughout the process.
  • Maintain strong knowledge of IBM AS400 iSeries and RPGLE programming, staying up-to-date with industry trends and best practices.

Requirements:

  • Strong understanding of IBM AS400 iSeries and RPGLE programming, with experience in ILE and its applications.
  • Proficiency in creating and debugging RPG/CL programs, with ability to design and implement efficient solutions using SEU, PDM, and DFU.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with ability to handle client requirements and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and meeting deadlines effectively.
