Senior E-Commerce QA Position

Job Description:

We are seeking a senior e-commerce quality assurance expert to lead our QA and automation initiatives. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining automated testing frameworks for both web and mobile applications.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage QA teams for large-scale e-commerce projects.
  • Design and implement automated testing (Selenium) frameworks for web and mobile applications.
  • Oversee QA processes for Magento and other customized e-commerce platform integrations.
  • Perform performance testing using JMeter to identify and optimize bottlenecks.
  • Conduct cross-browser and cross-device testing using tools like BrowserStack.
  • Design and execute API testing workflows using Postman.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define testing requirements, acceptance criteria, and release readiness.
  • Manage defect tracking and reporting via Jira.
  • Implement best practices in test automation, regression testing, and continuous integration (CI).
  • Mentor and train QA team members on tools, processes, and automation frameworks.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you should have:

  • 5–10 years of professional QA and automation experience, including team leadership.
  • Strong expertise with Magento or similar e-commerce platforms with customized codebases.
  • Proven track record of delivering measurable QA results in automation and performance testing.
  • Hands-on expertise with:
    • Automation: Selenium
    • Performance Testing: JMeter
    • Cross-Browser Testing: BrowserStack
    • API Testing: Postman
    • Test Management: Jira
    • Mobile/WMS Testing: iOS & Android
