Job Title: Data Analyst

We are seeking a highly skilled data analyst to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing our master dataset, developing reports, and troubleshooting data issues.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage master data, including creation, updates, and deletion.
  • Oversee users and user roles.
  • Ensure quality assurance of imported data, working with QA analysts as needed.
  • Commission and decommission data sets.
  • Process confidential data according to guidelines.
  • Collaborate in report development and analysis.
  • Design and manage the reporting environment, including data sources, security, and metadata.
  • Support the data warehouse in identifying reporting requirements.
  • Promote data integrity and normalization initiatives.
  • Evaluate new software and assist in strategic decisions on system upgrades.
  • Generate reports from multiple systems.
  • Troubleshoot the reporting database environment and reports.
  • Analyze changes and updates to source production systems.
  • Train end-users on new reports and dashboards.
  • Provide expertise in data storage structures, data mining, and data cleansing.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited university in computer science or related field.
  • Work experience as a data analyst or in a related field.
  • Ability to work with stakeholders to assess potential risks.
  • Ability to analyze tools and databases and provide recommendations.
  • Ability to translate business requirements into clear terms.
  • Experience with methodologies and processes for managing large-scale databases.
  • Demonstrated experience handling large data sets and relational databases.
  • Understanding of addressing and metadata standards.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
