Key Responsibilities

  • Database Migration: Lead and execute Oracle RAC migrations with solid hands-on experience, ensuring minimal downtime and data integrity.
  • Exadata Expertise: Utilize strong knowledge of Exadata to ExaCC migration processes, leveraging expertise to drive efficient database management.
  • Upgrade Management: Oversee upgrades to Oracle 19C, collaborating closely with development and IT teams to support application performance and database optimization.
  • Scripting and Automation: Develop and maintain shell scripts to automate database management tasks, streamlining processes and enhancing efficiency.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with development and IT teams to support application performance and database optimization, fostering a collaborative work environment.
  • Troubleshooting and Support: Provide technical support for database issues and performance tuning, utilizing strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
  • Experience: 7+ years of experience in Oracle DBA roles, with proven expertise in the required skills.
  • Skills: Strong understanding of database architecture and management principles, excellent problem-solving skills, and attention to detail.
  • Flexibility: Ability to work flexible shifts to accommodate AEST hours.
