Chassis and Structural Component Designer

  • This is a key position in our engineering team, focusing on conceptualization and development of motorcycle chassis and structural components. As a seasoned designer, you will be responsible for the creation of innovative designs that meet industry standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Calculate loads on parts and develop 3D CAD models and detailed 2D drawings for motorcycle structural components, taking into account factors such as safety, durability, and performance.
  • Apply principles of Design for Manufacturing (DFM), Design for Assembly (DFA), and Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) to ensure efficient production processes.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to select materials based on their strength, weight, cost, and durability, ensuring optimal results.
  • Maintain comprehensive documentation of design processes, decisions, and specifications to facilitate knowledge sharing and improvement.

Familiarity with CAD software, simulation tools, and manufacturing processes is essential. A strong background in mechanical engineering or related fields is required.
