Senior Accountant Job Description

As a Senior Accountant, you will be responsible for performing reconciliations to ensure accurate financial records.

You will provide exceptional service to clients by adhering to our service standards and developing a deep understanding of client financial matters to provide informed support.

Maintaining knowledge of relevant taxation and legislation is crucial to ensure compliance and maintaining accurate financial records by establishing accounts, posting transactions, and ensuring legal requirements are met.

You will also develop a system to account for financial transactions by establishing a chart of accounts and maintain historical records by filing documents.

Preparing financial reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing account information and trends is another key responsibility.

Ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local legal requirements by studying requirements, enforcing adherence, and advising management on needed actions is essential.

Key skills required for this role include minimum 3 years of accounting experience in the corporate/business sector, hands-on experience in AP and AR using QuickBooks in Real Estate Accounting, education background with either a Bachelor's or Master's in Commerce, good English communication skills, knowledge of GAAP, US Accounting, and Taxation process, experience working with multiple legal entities under different legal umbrellas, and being a CPA candidate or CPA enrolled.

Required Skills and Qualifications
